Healthcare workers spend countless hours buried in paperwork, tracking certifications, managing continuing education credits, and preparing for audits. It’s a reality that drains time away from patient care and contributes to burnout across the profession. CerTracker, a platform designed by nurses who lived through these challenges, is building a solution that addresses both the individual clinician’s needs and the compliance headaches facing healthcare systems nationwide.
The platform’s approach is deceptively simple: upload credentials once, and sync them everywhere. But behind that simplicity lies an AI-powered system that handles license verification, tracks renewal deadlines, and maintains audit-ready documentation. For nurses juggling multiple certifications and CEU requirements, it functions as a digital wallet that eliminates the spreadsheet chaos. For healthcare leaders preparing for Joint Commission visits or pursuing Magnet or Pathway to Excellence designations, it provides real-time dashboards and automated compliance reporting.

The platform’s nurse-led origins have resonated across the healthcare innovation space. CerTracker earned spots at both the 2025 ANCC Magnet Conference Nurse Innovator Row in Atlanta and the AONL Nurse Innovator Showcase, events that spotlight solutions built by nurses for nurses. The company also won the American Heart Association and MATTER’s HBCU Heart of Innovation Challenge, received $10,000 from the Lundbeck US Charitable Fund’s Advancing Brain Health Innovation Challenge, and completed the WE BUILD Accelerator with a $25,000 non-dilutive grant.
After graduating from the i2E Accelerator Program, CerTracker secured seed capital from Plains Ventures and OCAST. To date, the company has raised over $125,000 in non-dilutive funding and launched nationwide pilots with healthcare systems testing the compliance management platform.
Scaling a New Standard for Compliance
CerTracker is setting its sights higher. The team plans to reach 500,000 users across more than 500 health systems within the next three years, positioning the platform as the essential digital infrastructure for nursing excellence and accreditation readiness, positioning itself as essential infrastructure for nursing excellence and accreditation readiness.

The roadmap includes AI-driven predictive analytics that could flag compliance risks before they become problems, partnerships with leading national associations like the American Nurses Association and major continuing education providers, and CerTracker Enterprise, a multi-system dashboard designed for large health networks managing compliance across dozens of facilities.
By 2028, the platform aims to automate compliance processes end-to-end, moving healthcare organizations away from manual tracking systems that haven’t evolved much in decades. For an industry grappling with workforce burnout and staffing shortages, technology that returns time to nurses and eliminates administrative friction could prove valuable beyond just checking regulatory boxes. The platform’s focus on credential verification and audit preparation addresses a persistent pain point that affects everyone from frontline staff to chief nursing officers preparing for their next accreditation cycle.
