Most keynote speakers talk about focus. Dane, a professional mentalist, makes audiences feel it. Through live demonstrations that reveal hidden thoughts and predict choices, he’s built a unique offering. By combining performance psychology and corporate training, his keynotes and performances have attracted clients like Apple, Macy’s, and the American Cancer Society.
With over 20 years of live performance experience and a background in entrepreneurship, Dane has developed what he calls “keynote mentalism”—a format that blends mind-reading demonstrations with practical lessons on decision-making and performance under pressure. His work has been featured on national television and delivered to audiences at UC Davis, UC Merced, and corporate leadership summits across the country.
From Consumer Brands to Corporate Stages
Dane’s path to the keynote circuit wasn’t typical. Before performing full-time, he founded two consumer brands—Brotein and Positive Energy Bands—both of which achieved retail distribution. After realizing his true passion for performing arts, he left the retail world to blaze through a season of America’s Got Talent with a group of speed painters. He also co-founded a nonprofit arts organization serving youth and families, The Rize All Arts Center. Those entrepreneurial experiences greatly influenced how he structures his interactive mentalism keynotes, which are designed not just to entertain but to teach skills that translate directly into boardrooms and high-stakes conversations.
“This is not a motivational talk,” Dane explains. “It’s an interactive experience where the audience participates, volunteers take part in live demonstrations, and the lessons stick because people just experienced them firsthand.”

Two Formats, One Focus
Dane offers two distinct formats. Some organizations book him for pure mentalism performances designed to energize corporate galas and client celebrations. Others opt for a keynote experience that weaves focus and decision-making tools into the demonstrations while giving teams practical frameworks they can apply when pressure is high and clarity is critical.
His audiences tend to react strongly. Gasps, standing ovations, and occasional tears are common. But the real measure of success, according to Dane, is what happens after the applause. Leaders report success from using the tools in meetings, negotiations, and critical decisions long after the event ends.
Building a Global Platform
Dane’s near-term goal is to establish himself as a regular presence on the corporate keynote circuit, speaking at major conferences, sales kickoffs, and leadership summits. But his long-term vision extends further. He is currently writing a book, developing a structured teaching program, and making plans to expand into international stages and premium executive programs built around focus and performance.

His aim is to “scale with substance,” reaching larger audiences without sacrificing the practical impact that defines his work. He’s also sharing original media and filmed keynote mentalism experiences to extend his reach beyond live events.
For now, Dane continues performing for mid-to-large organizations that prioritize leadership development and high-performance culture. His background in business, combined with two decades of live performance, has created something rare: a keynote experience that people remember and actually use.
